The Community Navigator will handle those cases referred by the Department of Human Services for families seeking assistance. Work with low-moderate risk families and focus on proactive community linkages, stabilization, and concrete supports to address a family's long-term needs. Services will be primarily geared towards providing social and structural supports that will strengthen families and prevent entry or re-entry into the formal child welfare system.   Position Requirements BSW and at least 2 years of experience in providing supportive services in a community setting. Familiar with the North Philadelphia/Latino community needs and knowledge of resources within the community. Ability to operate a computer and use a variety of common software programs. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish preferred, and effectively communicating with individuals and groups.   This position is currently not accepting applications.
