Share Email Opening Title SME3 Field Service Representative   Category Information Technology   Description Location:  SME3 to work out of SOCSOUTH HQ in Homestead, FL to provide technical and training support to the SOF Deployable Node (SDN) Family of Systems (FoS).  Will be providing technical and training support to various units. Provide Tier I and II support at remote field and garrison sites. Perform server and desktop installation, basic cabling. Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks. Provide desktop system management involving account monitoring, security, operating system (OS) installation, and other local area system administration related functions. Run an entire remote site with demanding customers in austere or garrison locations. Maintain and load cryptographic devices and keys. Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair on many types of hardware and software. Develop new concepts and processes. Analyze root causes and resolves issues. Support more junior level technicians and specialists in their activities. Perform all tasks of lower level technicians or specialists. Work individually, actively participates on integrated teams, and may also lead a task, project, or team.   Position Requirements Education: Technical Training in C5ISR systems Experience: Twelve (12) years of hands-on experience with RF communications and/ or communications networks, to include three (3) of the following four (4) areas: Systems Requirements, Operational Requirements, Test & Evaluation, and Training. Recognized expert who has demonstrated industry and public service leadership in C5ISR systems.
