Sr. Credentialing Specialist

Under direct supervision, the Credentialing Specialist conducts basic components of customer credentialing including verifying business entity, using multiple channels to verify business is legitimate and in good standing, orders site inspection, confirms permissible purpose, and interacts directly with Sr. Credentialing Specialists, customers, sales and account management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review customer documents and credentialing steps conducted by the Credentialing Specialist team to ensure compliance with SOP for new and existing customers and approve accounts appropriately. 

  • Audit service requests completed by self-review Credentialing Specialists.

  • Conduct customer research associated with vendor audits.

  • Support internal stakeholders as needed providing responsive customer service

Position Requirements



  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred


  • 3 years' related experience, preferably in a customer service environment

Other Knowledge or Skills

  • Knowledge of Siebel CRM tool
  • Must have sufficient working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel)
  • Good communication/grammar skills

Physical Requirements: This role is largely a sedentary in nature and involves sitting for long periods of time. The role requires the ability to read, type, hear, speak, lift and/or carry equipment and files up to 20 pounds, walk, bend or stand as necessary.

Working Environment: This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, keyboards, phones, photocopiers, scanners, calculators, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Travel Requirements: Annual to bi-annual travel may be required to attend team meetings.
