This position oversees all facility shelters and housing programs and is the agency’s primary liaison to the Montgomery County Department of Housing. Represents the facility in the community by participating in community activities, as requested, and/or as agreed upon, by their supervisor. This position has direct oversight and management of the Shelter Director and the Assistant to the Director of Shelter and Housing. The person in this position must provide direct supervision across all three shelter shifts when needed. This position also carries some after-hours “on-call” responsibilities.   Position Requirements MSW with Experience in a supervisory capacity of at least two (2) years. Proven track record of working with victims of domestic violence, their families, and the community preferred. Ability to defuse, deescalate, and respond appropriately in a crisis. Ability to work with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds and beliefs and marginalized populations. Residential experience preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to function independently and in a team environment. Proven record of effective leadership and team-building skills. Able to problem-solve and find the best possible solution to issues. Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to change as needed. Valid Driver’s License and auto insurance.     This position is currently not accepting applications.
