LaForce is looking for a Project Coordinator for our growing Security Integration department to provide assistance to Outside Sales and Project Management staff. This person will be responsible for providing sales support to coworkers including pricing, quotes, technical drawing, security schedules, submittals, and sales order creation, along with assisting in managing projects.

Major Responsibilities

  • Communicate with internal and external customers regarding sales orders and customer contact.
  • Consult with Sales, Estimating, Specifications, and SI to identify solutions, procedures, application objectives and knowledge of system.
  • Price projects, estimate dates of product delivery, follow up on active quotes.
  • Assist field technicians, installers, and sale staff via phone when they call with questions on orders.
  • Help project manage and coordinate with coworkers, customers, installers, and other personnel to execute booked projects.
  • Assist and educate customers on access control products, services, and methods, including basic Electronic Access Control troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One-year related experience in the construction, door and hardware or security industry is preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, etc.
  • Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Vision, Bluebeam, Lotus Notes, and other various LaForce computer programs.
