Our History

eMDs was founded in 1996 by David Winn, MD, a board-certified family practice physician with a very strong business background who understood the value of having an integrated practice management system which helped physicians focus on patients while optimizing practice financials. Dr. Winn was dissatisfied with offerings on the market, and set out to create his own. The eMDs clinic was first implemented in 1998. Using our own practice management system meant we fully understood what it takes to create the perfect EHR system and why the company built our reputation upon being a highly usable system.

Many years later, we've retained the same values from our early days. We are dedicated to building the best integrated EHR and RCM systems and services. We focus on listening to our customers. And most importantly, we focus on making the practice of medicine enjoyable and fulfilling.

  • Position Responsibilities
  • Problem identification and analysis:
    • Helps in identify problems and suggest practical and effective solutions for client related issues.
    • Incorporate feedback into the training loop, with the aim of closing the gaps between the theory and practice,
    • Eventually develop subject matter expertise on clients and processes.
    • Provide effective and efficient solutions by doing concentrated and focused defect analysis and help in improving the overall health of the client/specialty.
  • Constructive feedback on the errors committed:

  • Ensure constructive feedback, given on consistent basis with the aim of improving the quality of work done.
  • Help in auditing transaction in different domains like Charge entry, Payment entry and denial handling and provide inputs on client related issues, along with valuable suggestions to improve processes or client profile instructions.
  • Co-ordination with the teams in Client services (Noida and NY) to achieve this goal.
  • Addressing client complaints by suggesting and helping implement effective solutions.
  • Should impart one on one and group feedbacks to team members.
  • Reporting, Projects & Other Deliverables:
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Report the Quality metrics and data, for client and associate's performance on a regular basis.
  • Identify denial trends with specific insurances based on ANSI and give feedbacks.
  • Report findings from the follow up / denial handling Quality check to the Team lead to identify denial trends and their resolution for better collections.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on-time with accuracy.
  • Excellent time-management and self-governance skills
  • Team development:
  • Ensure that the team functions at the optimum levels of quality.
  • Ensure that team is updated with latest insurance related and process related updates.
  • Ensure that team follows the process instructions.
  • Act as a Subject matter expert to the team members.
  • Should identify and propose training need based on the auditing.
