Share Email Opening Title Parking and Courtesy Volunteer Supervisor  Description Title / Position: Parking and Courtesy Volunteer Supervisor Position type: Seasonal, Full time. Hourly, Non-Exempt. Reports to: Director of Mountain Operations Providing quality guest service is important for any business and having a supervisor that can lead our parking attendants and courtesy volunteers is key to setting the right tone from the start. We are looking for an organized person with great customer relations skills to fill this position. Summary: Primary role is to provide oversight of all parking lots, parking shuttle, ticket checking, survey, and courtesy volunteer personnel to maximize enjoyment for our guests. Duties and Responsibilities: Interview, hire, train and schedule winter parking attendants and shuttle drivers Interview, train and schedule winter courtesy volunteers Ensure all areas are set for operations: parking, shuttle, ticket checking, survey, etc. Organize parking, to include signage and markers Responsible for maze layouts for lifts Responsible for a smooth and organized guest arrival and departure Other duties as assigned   Position Requirements Qualifications: Must be able to work weekends and holidays Punctual and prepared to perform work duties on time Able to withstand extreme weather conditions Able to negotiate steep and variable terrain without difficulty and assistance on a frequent basis Must be a self-starter, able to work with minimum supervision Must be flexible with hours and days Must be willing to work outdoors all day Leadership skills with the ability to direct and coordinate a large staff Supervisory Responsibility: This position supervises both paid staff and volunteers in a variety of outdoor locations. Total team comprises 30-50 individuals. Work Environment: This job operates primarily outdoors during the winter season. This includes all forms of winter weather found in Vermont. Physical Demands: This is a physically active role requiring several hours of working outdoors; includes shoveling, moving racks, and moving parking area markings.
