Description

The Accounts Receivable Team Manager position involves managing and guiding a team of A/R associates. This team will be responsible for the analysis of receivables due from the customers and initiation of necessary follow-up actions to be paid timely and efficiently. This requires both written and verbal communication skills along with the appropriate system monitoring management protocol.

Primary Duties of the Role:

  • This role reports to the AR Manager and will lead a team of associates to manage the day-to-day activities with the team.
  • They will mentor, supervise, and train existing or new staff and work towards improving skills and work ethic.
  • They will guide the team to reduce AR aging and optimize collections.
  • Timely response to clients on any process related queries and managing 1st level escalations for the team.
  • Performing quality checks on team A/R follow ups on a regular basis.
  • Monitoring and managing workflow or daily targets to assure timely delivery of agreed SLA's.
  • Tracking and maintaining metrics for a variety of data includes attendance, productivity, etc.
  • Work with AR Manager to develop processes to improve efficiencies, productivity, and quality of the team.
  • Work with AR Manager to resolve any personnel problems or conflicts that may arise in the team.
  • In addition to administrative responsibilities, the Team Manager may be expected to perform follow-up work as well depending upon the requirement.
  • Identify trends within the portfolio to aid collections and improve the productivity
  • Candidate will be expected to work in any of the operating shifts as per the business requirement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Knowledge of Health care a plus
  • Keen eye for process and quality improvement
  • NetSuite and Salesforce experience an edge.
  • Commerce graduate would be an edge.
