The social worker is part of a mobile outreach unit with the goal to provide medical assistance, social services support, and the covid vaccine to the homeless population in NYC. The mobile outreach unit travels via bus and is comprised of social workers and medical professionals (nurse practitioner, EMT, etc. who give the covid vaccine and other health information, screens, etc.) Outreach is always done in pairs. They have various vans/buses stationed in Manhattan and Brooklyn.   Position Requirements All the staff of this program, including social workers, need to be vaccinated (with the covid vaccine).   This position is currently not accepting applications.
