Share Email opening to a friend Apply Now Title Supplier Performance Specialist  Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift First   Description **** We will accept resumes and applications for the Associate, Mid-Level, and Senior levels of this position **** The primary responsibility of the Supplier Performance Specialist is to conduct supply chain audits at supplier's facilities. The person in this role will manage the action plan, recovery plans and improvement plans that will have to be put in place with those suppliers. This position can work remotely in New Jersey or Florida, due to our HQ location in NJ and Florida's strategic importance with suppliers. PRINCIPLE DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): Conducts supplier supply chain diagnostics and/or on-request mission analysis Conducts new supplier assessment and approval process Manages supplier improvement and action plans as needed Negotiates with suppliers regarding recovery plans, capabilities and performance for procered products and part returns (for upgrading, repairs and overhauls)   Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or Engineer Degree with a Supply Chain major. May substitute one (1) year of relevant college education for two (2) years of related work experience Three (3) years managing vendor/suppliers Understaning of supply chain functions and its related components Advanced knowledge of Excel required including the use of v-lookups, pivot tables, etc. Knowledge of production and manufacturing principles and processes Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demostrated analytical and project management skills ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATION: CPIM or similar certification Experience of supply chain processes & tools design and implementation Prior experience or use of Lean/Six Sigma principles Aerospace Industry experience   Location Little Rock   This position is currently accepting applications.
