The IT Analyst is responsible for the provisioning, installation, administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, documentation and monitoring of all organizationally owned or serviced technology equipment in all branch offices. Identifies problems, categorizes, prioritizes and troubleshoots systems and networking issues in a timely manner. Acts as technical escalation point for team members and ensures all tickets are disposed within a reasonable timeframe. Ensures systems have maximum availability during peak and non-peak hours. Installs and supports internal networks, as well as, telephone systems. Assists in developing and documenting policy, procedures and best practices as dictated by industry standards and/or the VP of Information Technology. Ensures all systems maintain high integrity and security from both internal and external threats. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish team goals. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is expected to resolve issues, without compromising security. This position reports to the Information Technology Infrastructure Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements
  • Provide onsite break/fix and IMAC requests for an assigned region
  • Provide remote and onsite Windows desktop and printer support
  • Work with Systems Administrators to build and implement new technology solutions
  • Support local network switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Gather feedback from end users and programs about system and network performance
  • Plan and oversee projects (e.g. upgrades, hardware/software installations)
  • Provide advice and technical training to end user
  • Keep abreast of technology trends and developments
  • Maintain and acquire new skills through ongoing research and training
 
Position Requirements
  • Proven experience as an IT Analyst, IT Consultant or similar role
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Azure
  • Knowledge of Microsoft O365 suite (SharePoint, Exchange, etc.)
  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge of databases, system security and troubleshooting a plus
  • Understanding of business practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Analytical mindset
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Able to lift more than 50 pounds
  • Able to work 24x7 rotating on call schedule
  • Customer service oriented
  • Must have own transportation and be able to travel within assigned region
  • Approx. 30%-40% travel within assigned region.
  • Night and Weekend could be needed
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • 4 years of Information Technology
