Purchases current volume at $14,000,000+ annually of parts necessary to fulfill sales orders in a timely and accurate manner. Works with Purchasing Manager in negotiating vendor quotes for materials and supplies. Develops close working relationships with vendors to adjust orders ensuring MOQ’s and pricing issues are resolved. Works with Receiving to ensure PO’s are received correctly to enable AP processing of invoices in a timely manner; works with vendors and AP to resolve receiving/shipping discrepancies. Works with Quality and Engineering to track and resolve non-conforming issues. Assists Purchasing Manager to research status of Purchase Orders for backordered product and expedite shipments to meet customer demand.
Purchases parts necessary to fulfill sales orders in a timely and accurate manner.
Works closely with vendors to adjust MOQ and pricing issues for PO’s placed to balance demand and supply.
Schedules containers to be received and guides Receiving department to ensure containers are unloaded in a timely manner and product is counted and received correctly.
Reconciles quantities received versus ordered between vendors and AP to ensure timely payment of invoices taking advantage of all available discounts.
Works with Quality, Engineering and vendors to track and resolve non-conforming issues.
Assists Purchasing Manager with needed report compilation including those for OMIX and Truck Hero Corporate; researches status of Purchase Orders for backordered product to expedite shipments.
Assists with other projects as needed.
