What You Will be Doing
The Information Analytics Manager is a member of our growing team of data analytics experts, and manages the processes and people responsible for accurate healthcare data collection, processing, modeling and analysis. They are responsible for managing the organization’s electronic health records, including ongoing support, training, upgrades, and implementation of new modules or enhancements. The Information Analytics Manager will work closely with performance improvement, business and application analysts to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decision making. They will ensure data accuracy and consistent reporting by designing and creating optimal processes and procedures for the analytics program. They are also responsible for participating in the development of and supporting the organization’s data warehouse and data analytics platform and supporting the organization’s capability to exchange health information electronically via Health Information Exchange.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Position Requirements

Minimum Education/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in relevant field preferred or a minimum of five years’ direct experience in Electronic Health Record administration and health data analytics.
  • Five years’ relevant professional work experience is required.
  • Experience and understanding of healthcare outcomes measurement required.
  • Experience with the administration of electronic records systems required.
  • Experience managing the implementation of or implementing electronic health records systems required.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation/ training skills, both written and verbal, required.
  • SQL coding skills (queries and commands) required; experience with stored procedures preferred.
  • Experience working with dimensional data models strongly preferred.

Supervisory Responsibility
Manages technical positions such as applications analysis and database development.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to perform job responsibilities in facilities with multiple levels and without elevator or mechanical transportation.
  • Ability to operate a computer and keyboard.


Travel is primarily local during the business day, but regular out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
