Role Summary

The Site Manager works in tandem with the General Manager directing, managing, and optimizing the overall operations of the cultivation and production facility in Holyoke, MA. This position will supervise the execution and efficiency of systems to collect metrics, analyze productivity, and performance targets that will meet revenue and cost goals set up by The General Manager. This position assists on the development and deployment of manufacturing practices focused on quality and continuous improvement. This position support functions to ensure alignment with overall plant operations.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist GM on daily operations of the business unit performance

• Achieves objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources; reviewing progress; and making mid-course corrections

• Organizes efforts by establishing procurement, production, cultivation, and technical services policies and practices; and coordinating actions with corporate staff

• Ensure the overall delivery and quality of the cannabis products for Trulieve consumers

• Assist GM maintaining budgets and optimizing expenses

• Support hiring and talent development programs

• Maintains quality service by enforcing organization standards

• Evaluate key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent

• Communicate strategy and results to the unit's employees

• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally

• Assist GM evaluating and improving operations

• Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations

• Review and enforce all Trulieve policies and standard operating procedures

• Provide reports on a regular basis and as directed or requested

• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies.

• Proactive in understanding and educating changing regulations, laws, and best practices, as they apply to the business and industry

• Perform other duties as assigned.

 
Position Requirements

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in law, finance, business administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred

• 5+ years’ experience working in manufacturing, agriculture, and/or food service industry

• 5+ years’ proven experience as a project manager, continuous improvement, or similar role

• Experience in planning and budgeting

• Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, procurement, operations etc.)

• Strong analytical ability

• Superior project management skills

• Outstanding leadership skills

• Problem-solving aptitude

• Integrity and professional ethics

• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

• High level of engagement with stakeholders and third parties

• Accurate and precise attention to detail

• Self-starter with a history of pushing for deadline-driven results

• Process improvement and documentation; attention to detail; time-management, prioritization, and organizational skills

• Observant, analytical, inquisitive, and attentive

• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with a variety of personalities at various seniority levels

• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Must possess a valid driving license and a clear driving record

• Must be able to successfully complete a comprehensive background screening

ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday. Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure requirements of this position can be fully met. Due to the nature of our business, it is advocated that when representing Trulieve that our professionalism meets the needs of our customer base that we respectively serve. To uniformly align with the organization, an individual must be able to provide a level of communication that aligns respectively with the diversification of our customers which may exhibit opportunities to assess the situation and apply meaningful service. In addition, must be able to quickly identify and insert additional support where needed to deescalate situations without compromising Trulieve’s objective in serving our customer base with excellent customer service. Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds to a minimum height of 5 feet and be able to push, pull, move, and/or carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.

WORK SCHEDULE:

55+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on business needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends and holidays. Some travel required.
