Description

Blue Marble Productions, Inc. is a world-class developer, processor, and co-packer of branded and private label alcohol and non-alcohol-based products for the beverage industry.

The Quality Coordinator is responsible for record keeping and reporting, ensuring that operational processes are documented and followed.

  • Maintain and initiate all recordkeeping and key performance indicators pertinent to the Quality Department including, but not limited to GMPs, Food Safety, Sanitation, regulatory agencies (FDA), and internal customers.
  • Track and monitor Quality Data to initiate continuous improvement actions and improve key operating metrics for quality assurance
  • Support Quality Manager by writing, reviewing, and/or publishing SOPs for the Quality Dept, including One Point Lessons.
  • Monitor production documentation for accuracy. Work cross functionally to identify gaps and collect the necessary information to complete.
  • Issue CAPA’s, monitor timeliness to completion, report out on CAPA closure
  • Coordinate, maintain, and ensure completion of documentation of records for the company and its customers with a high degree of neatness and accuracy
  • Coordinate with Quality Manager on material hold and release processes
  • Collect data from various systems in order to prepare monthly reports or other reports as required, including KPI’s.
  • Prepare and send customer data and finished production reports
  • Record keeping for employee training to ensure successful completion and implementation of all required trainings, including New Hire and Annual GMP training
  • Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) for the area worked
  • Communicating issues and concerns to supervisor
  • Ensure person safety, foot safety, and quality protocols are following, especially with a focus on adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols ad Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs)
  • Utilizes all food safety and food security guidelines, including Safe Quality Foods (SQF) good manufacturing practices and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points
  • Other duties assigned by the Supervisor/Manager

Position Requirements
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Must be 21 years of age
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be able to do simple mathematics
  • Must be well versed in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Teams and have the aptitude to learn SAP and other software programs
  • Must be highly organized
  • Must have great attention to detail, essential problem-solving methods and initiative
  • Must have the ability to learn and apply policies, procedures, standards and guidelines
  • Must have the ability to perform assigned tasks in a timely and accurate manner with minimal supervision
  • Must have the ability to receive, understand and proactively respond to direction from supervisors/managers and other members of leadership
  • Must have the ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
  • Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
  • Must be able to read, recognize and speak the English language
  • Must be able to work overtime when needed
  • Previous experience working in a food and beverage manufacturing facility with knowledge of GMPs, HAACP and Food Safety preferred
  • Knowledge of quality tools such as auditing, Root Cause Problem Solving, pareto charts, customer service, corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), etc. preferred

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Must be able to use hands and fingers to control equipment for forms of communication by grasping, reaching, and using finger dexterity
  • Utilize visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and/or use a keyboard
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to lift up to 50 pounds depending on job task
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to operate carts, dollies, and hand trucks of up to 100 lbs.
  • Must be able to climb and descend stairs safely, with or without reasonable accommodation, and work on a secure mezzanine or ladder at a height of up to 25 feet
  • Must be able to work in cool conditions in the winter and warm conditions in the summer
