Job Description: Responsible for day-to-day supervision and management of the Transitional Housing Program.  Participates with the Program Director in program planning, staff supervision and training, overseeing the Transitional Housing program budget, and other administrative duties as assigned.  Provides direct case management services to clients in the Transitional Housing program.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor the daily operations of the Transitional Housing program including the processing of intakes and evaluations for entry into the program, case plan development and implementation, collaboration with other service providers, length of stay, management of complex cases, and implementation of aftercare services. 
  3. Participate as a member of the Emergency and Community Services management team.
  4. Provide administrative and clinical supervision to the Transitional Housing program staff.
  5. Prepare staff Performance Evaluations in tandem with the Program Director.
  6. Oversee scheduling of Transitional Housing staff including time off requests.
  7. Assist Transitional Housing direct service staff with complex cases and handle client, landlord, and vendor complaints, ensuring timely resolution.
  8. Complete quarterly Transitional Housing reviews to ensure proper documentation and quality of services.
  9. Represent the Transitional Housing program on county and internal committees as requested, provide community education as assigned, serve as a liaison to agencies the program partners with, and maintain relationships with agencies, landlords, vendors, and the welfare board.
  10. Monitor Transitional Housing budgets and ensure compliance with funding source requirements.  Ensure contract outcomes are routinely tracked, monitored, and reported as required.
  11. Provide the Program Director and/or Service Area Director of concerns regarding contracted outcomes and levels of service.
  12. Other related program tasks as assigned by the Program Director.
Position Requirements

Requirements: Master of Social Work strongly preferred but a Bachelors Degree and experience can be substituted.  Must possess proven experience in program management, provision of direct services to diverse populations, and knowledge of community resources and entitlement programs.  Strong assessment and documentation skills as well as the ability to make independent decisions are required.  Must demonstrate the ability to work along with and supervise others. Valid driver’s license.  Willingness and ability to work flexible hours if needed.

Weekly Work Hours 40 hrs.  
Schedule Mon-Fri 8:30-4:30
