JOB SUMMARY

Assist with all aspects of the Company’s recruiting function such as job posting, telephone pre-screening, coordinating, and scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates throughout the selection process, reference checks, and administrative support. 

 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with the administrative function of the Company’s recruitment process.
  • Post and manage job openings on the ATS, various job boards, industry sites, and social media platforms.
  • Manage the flow of applicants through the recruitment process.
  • Support the development of recruiting strategies at target universities and industry associations; research and register for recruiting events and build long-term relationships to maintain a pipeline of exceptional talent.
  • Represent FSNS at recruiting events including career fairs, information sessions, interview days and networking dinners; attend national conferences and career expos. Provide information on company and job opportunities to potential applicants.
  • Support the planning and implementation of the Internship Program.
  • Screen and refer qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing. May provide initial screening for manager to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements. Assist in arranging travel and lodging for applicants.
  • Enter and maintain data into various human resources databases in a timely manner; ensuring the accuracy of information and file maintenance.
  • Produce reports from human resources databases as requested.
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Assist in the coordination of special projects, events or activities sponsored by human resources.
  • Performs general Human Resources support functions and all other related duties as required and assigned.

SUPERVISION

  • Does not directly supervise others but has supervision of a specific business function
 
Position Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Business Management, or equivalent preferred
  • One year of experience in recruitment preferred
  • Technical and STEM recruiting experience preferred
  • Prior knowledge of principles and practices of human resources
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working in the food industry strongly preferred
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems to include data queries, collection, evaluation, organizing and analysis of data
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy to include social media

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Sitting for extended periods of time
  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse and to handle other
  • communications/computer components
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • Potential exposure to odors, fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, and microbiological pathogens
