High End - Key Account Manager - Mancini Beverage 



Manage the beer portfolio of brands by working with sales and supplier personnel to ensure that the sales growth, product distribution, and retail program execution standards are met. Also accountable for the execution of brand business drivers across the channels of trade as it relates to the portfolio. Responsible for training and developing the sales personnel so that they are the most capable beer sales team in the state. Primary salesperson for 25-30 key high-volume on-premise accounts.

Core Job Functions:

  • Manage sales team on monthly business driver initiatives as it relates to the Beer Portfolio and track success of key retail programs.
  • Program, track and analyze retail trade programs in order to assess effectiveness and results
  • Make sales calls to top volume and opportunity accounts (On & Off Premise) to assist with program initiatives and standards
  • Work with individual sales reps to enhance sales capabilities and brand knowledge. Support monthly business driver execution.
  • Work with key supplier personnel in the trade as to develop and execute key brand initiatives at the account level
  • Work directly with Purchasing team to forecast sales and assist in managing inventory of key suppliers
  • Coordinate and lead the on-line media strategy and activities to include, social media and web platform for the brands
  • Manage the proactive communication and the planning process with key suppliers
  • Communicate effectively and consistently with the selling personnel in order to achieve strong performance results against the business drivers
  • Coordinate and Execute key brand building activities and marketing tasks to include: retail tastings, beer dinners, menu development, pos
  • Complete reports in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring that they are concise and informative.

Leadership Requirements

  • Coach the sales team in a professional manner. Ensure that all Company standards and policies are adhered to (i.e. dress code, cleanliness, policies and standards on the pre-plan).
  • Provide positive exposure for Company through community involvement, quality service, and excellent support to ultimately increase product sales and market share.
  • Balance Company objectives with supplier and retailer requests.

Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferable
  • Prior sales management training preferable
  • Prior Route Sales experience (3 years) necessary
