Description

The Pack Leader reports to the Chief Operating Officer. A Pack Leader is responsible for all of the following within their service area or District: managing Pet Care Professionals, hiring, training, conducting registration visits, conducting quality assurance visits, mentoring and maintaining communications with Pet Care Professionals, clients, and other departments within the Company.

Pack Leader Responsibilities

  • Management and mentorship of Pet Care Professional staff
  • Hiring and Training
  • Staff Reviews
  • Employee Retention
  • Client Retention
  • Pet Care Visits, including the administration of medications for a variety of pets
  • Assisting with District Growth and Marketing
  • New Client Registrations
  • Quality Assurance Visits, Shadow Visits, Introduction Visits
  • Assist with issues with clients in their area
  • Client Database Management
  • Training Staff on New or Substitute Clients
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Update dashboards daily/monthly
  • Scheduling pet care services, as needed

 

Customer Service

  • Go above and beyond to provide the best service possible
  • Remain professional on the phone and in person
  • Ensure follow up with clients within 24 hours
  • Substitute for pet care staff as necessary

 

 

 
Position Requirements

Essential Functions: Skills

  • Must love animals and people
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills; must be able to work independently in Word and Excel
  • Must be a good listener with excellent verbal and written skills
  • Excellent organizational and technical skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information and materials with discretion
  • Must be well spoken, confident, outgoing, and friendly
  • Must be available for set office hours
  • Quickly adapts to technical, process, policies and procedures change
  • Flexible team player with the ability to prioritize competing deadlines and tasks
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable insured vehicle
