Share Email Opening Title Lift Mechanic  Description Title / Position: Lift Mechanic Position type: Year-round or Seasonal, Full-time; Hourly, Non-Exempt Reports to: Lifts Maintenance and Operations Manager Looking for a new place to put your hard earned Lift Mechanic skills to work? Consider Bromley Mountain Resort. We’ll set you up with our existing team of motivated, hard-working mechanics and train you on our equipment. What we demand is a good attitude, adaptability, quick thinking and teamwork. Summary: Primary responsibility is to maintain, overhaul and repair all lifts as assigned. Duties and Responsibilities: Inspect, repair and maintain lifts, associated buildings and ramps Diagnose malfunctions Disassembles and overhauls machinery and equipment Lubricates machinery and equipment Carries out preventive maintenance program Operate lifts as needed Performs other duties as required by management   Position Requirements Qualifications and Competencies: Prior experience as a lift mechanic a must 18 years of age or older Must be able to work weekends and holidays Punctual and prepared to perform work duties Must have a mechanical aptitude sufficient to understand lift equipment and its function Must be able to project image established by the company Must be able to climb ladders and work from heights Must be prepared to work outdoors under inclement weather conditions and extreme cold Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Supervisory Responsibility: This position acts as head of lift maintenance in the absence of the Lift Maintenance and Operations Manager. Work Environment: This job operates primarily outdoors year-round. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computer, phones, and photocopiers as well as maintenance equipment on a daily basis. Role also operates 4-wheelers and snow mobiles on a regular basis. Physical Demands: This is a physically active role requiring several hours of standing and working outdoors. Occasionally indoors using computers and phones as well. Must be able to lift and carry 20 lbs over uneven terrain.
