If the answer is yes, then we may have the opportunity for you. JSI, Janitorial Services, Inc, is currently seeking Full-Time, Floor Technicians for the Greater Cleveland area. Based In Cuyahoga Hts, Ohio, this 2nd Shift position work schedule will be generally 4:00 pm - 12:30 am, but will will require some flexibity for possible earlier or later work times, based on specific job needs that may arise. The Floor Technician is responsible the proper cleaning and polishing of halls & corridors, banquet rooms, elevators, restrooms, kitchens, dining and public areas, etc. Perform floor care of all areas of the building as directed, including vacuuming, mopping, carpet cleaning and hard floor care to fulfill obligations based on the package each client selects; Also complete non-routine floor care according to specific job orders including handling emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.   Location Cuyahoga Heights   Position Requirements The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes: 1-2 years of professional floor technician experience is preferred, however JSI will train capable candidates as necessary. Detailed-oriented, flexible and willing to take on special floor care related projects as needed. General knowledge of floor care products, cleaning tools and best practices. Reliable transportation. Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time (4-8 hours per day). Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals in an office or industrial setting. Ability to learn and follow JSI floor maintenance/care procedures. Physically capable or operating floor scrubbers, high speed burnishes, carpet extractors, buffers, vacuum machine in a safe and efficient manner.
