The Position:

The Family Support Services (FSS) program is looking to add to the team! The FSS Data Specialist will support program monitoring and evaluation by collecting, reviewing, and entering qualitative and quantitative program data. Working closely with program staff, the Data Specialist will develop and monitor data tracking mechanisms and ensure databases are functioning so that data is accurately recorded and tracked.

Working with those impacted by trauma can be fulfilling and meaningful, yet simultaneously challenging, requiring attention to one's self-care. FSA strives to be a trauma-informed and resilience-oriented organization, actively identifying and employing methods to support staff to embody a healthy and sustainable balance of care for others and themselves.

Sample Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop data tracking mechanisms that capture and reflect services as outlined in program contracts.
  • Coordinate with program staff to support accurate data tracking and data entry practices.
  • Conduct data quality reviews.
  • Maintain data entry guide and provide staff training and support as directed.
  • Review program data to support evaluation of performance measures and program outputs.
  • Prepare preliminary grant reports.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements

Employment Standards:

  • BA/BS required in sociology, business administration, accounting, mathematics, or related field.
  • Excellent analytical, computer, written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Experience working with quantitative data.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; can adapt to using various types of software.

Classification, Hours and Pay Rate:

  • This is a part-time or full-time position, with flexibility from 20-40 hours per week! Part time and/or full time position are possible based on applicant preference. This position also has the possibility of offering remote work.
  • Positions working 30.0 or more hours per week will include benefits, such as: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, flexible spending accounts and 403(b) retirement plan. Vacation, holiday, and sick leave also offered.
  • Pay dependent on education and experience.
