In order to achieve this state of success, this position will be responsible for a wide variety of Human Resources needs of management and employees including a first line of support for employee relations issues and working in close partnership with internal leadership at all levels to ensure the continual improvement in people management processes. This position will meet with decision-makers to outline the organization’s HR goals, identify opportunities to improve processes, and provide recommendations to improve employee morale and boost performance. Additionally, this position will analyze trends related to employee morale, retention, and employee relations with management and executives to align HR efforts with company goals related to profitability, efficiency, and performance.

Specific Accountabilities

  • Deliver exceptional member service to every member, every time by ensuring employees deliver consistently high quality service to both internal and external member that is in alignment with our Brand Culture.
  • Meet or exceed established service goals
  • Ensure thorough understanding of expectations and consistently exhibit Allegacy behaviors.
  • Provide HR business partner expertise to business units as it relates to job analysis, compensation review, employment agreements, and adherence to employment and business unit policies and procedures.
  • Recommend, administer, and monitor human resources programs including policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with credit union policies as well as external rules and regulations.
  • Provide guidance to supervisors on managing to Allegacy’s policies and procedures.
  • Assist managers in assigned areas of responsibility in preparing and administering progressive disciplinary actions to ensure fair and equitable employment practices are being followed in order to avoid legal action.
  • Identify and implement appropriate performance management tools and resources to provide the human capital analytics that inform strategic business decisions.
  • Oversee the AllHealth Wellness Program utilizing aggregate HRA, Biometric Screening, and Insurance data with the goal of improving the holistic wellbeing (mind, body, spirit, and soul) of all employees.
  • Identify and report health analytics (ROI, productivity, absenteeism, presenteeism, etc.) for the AllHealth Wellness Program to key stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership for the Allegacy Wellness Committee, and wellness liaisons, to increase employee wellness engagement.
  • Responsible for enhancing the external brand differentiation of Allegacy based upon its commitment to employee wellbeing by competing for local, regional, and national recognition.
 
Position Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Leadership skills and ability to build strong business relations and influence a wide range of stakeholders toward desired end results.
  • Ability to lead and manage complex, large-scale organization-wide projects.
  • Possess a strong knowledge of Human Resources law, policies and guidelines regarding employment and employment practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of employee relations, EEO, performance improvement, succession planning, high performance teams, and group dynamics.
  • Ability to study and analyze management methods in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of workflow and reporting processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills with the ability to communicate effectively to all audiences and organizational levels.
  • Superior skills in working with Microsoft Office products (i.e., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).


    Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration and/or equivalent of 7 years of progressive, increasing responsibility within Human Resources; financial services HR experience desirable.
  • Human Resources experience to include oversight of employee relations, performance management systems, and complex wellness programming.
  • Experience with coaching on performance management, succession planning and providing advice and counsel on policies and procedures.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative analysis and presentation graphics.
  • SHRM-SCP and/or SPHR certification preferred.
