JOB SUMMARY:

The Marketing Manager will be primarily responsible for KPI strategies, planning, and production of the VinFast US brand and experiential efforts. This role will act as the brand filter of all creative production, oversee campaigns, and launches, supervise agency teams, and direct and execute national and regional events, while collaborating with the global marketing and development teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY ACTIVITIES:

BRAND:

  • Support the Marketing Director to develop, recommend, and lead the execution of the marketing strategy as well as manage the effective deployment of the marketing budget
  • Analyze brand and competitive trends, and recommend actions to be taken
  • Develop all creative briefs that align with brand strategy and values-based brand proposition for all creative projects
  • Review marketing materials for VinFast US, including Digital, Social, CRM, Experiential, Retail, Merchandise, etc.
  • Provide ongoing collaboration, creative input, and design projects with internal and external partners
  • Ensures ideas and concepts align with marketing objectives and are completed in accordance with timelines
  • Create and shape brand messaging and communication of new brand offerings
  • Assist in the development and own the execution of the marketing plan and materials based on market insights
  • POC for design and PR agency work
  • Develop and implement strategies along with managing and tracking all activities and performance of agency and other service providers

EXPERIENTIAL:

  • Direct, develop, and execute national and regional events including brand launches, product launches, and potentially auto show/ trade show activations
  • Plan events in alignment with major business objectives and marketing calendar
  • Work with agency partners to execute approved strategy, creative, and mange up to provide updates to key stakeholders both domestic and abroad
  • Work in conjunction with internal marketing team members to align and integrate efforts across disciplines
  • Monitor KPIs while taking action to improve or address key learnings for future events

BUDGET

  • Responsible for managing and tracking marketing budget and spend

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, Master’s Degree a plus
  • 5+ years of marketing/advertising experience focused on brand management and experiential activations
  • 2+ years of experience within automotive industry desired. Electric vehicle industry a plus
  • Luxury experience preferred
  • Experience with auto show and/ or trade show experience (e.g., CES) preferred
  • Agency and or/ related client-side experience
  • Strong project management skills with attention to detail; master at multi-tasking working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple projects and agency personnel
  • Ability to problem solve, make decisions, and operate with an entrepreneurial spirit within the framework of a team concept
  • Experience with workflow and the ability to work across departments, along with the wider Vinfast teams

  • Talent to develop strategy and implementation plans for new projects/initiatives and ability and willingness to take and lead the creative development of a campaign, while managing a macro strategy
  • Capacity to develop strong interpersonal relationships at a variety of levels (i.e., global partners, executive, manager, field staff, direct reports, and agency hierarchy of personnel) with strong resolve to communicate any issues or concerns with business partners
  • Diplomatic and collaborative attitude, able to motivate partners to meet and exceed business expectations
  • Ability to create and present executive facing presentations and other materials
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
