Job Overview
We are a rapidly growing national provider of video surveillance to the multifamily housing industry looking to fill an immediate opening in our Project Department. Our ideal candidate will assist installers and project managers with the completion of new product installations. This assistance is virtual and performed remotely to support the installers on the ground. The primary focus of this assistance is for aiming and focusing cameras to ensure proper image quality and perspective is captured. Additionally, project support technicians are responsible for the creation and maintenance of all client property maps used internally and externally.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Creation of equipment lists for new projects/installs.
- Order & schedule new internet service for new client installs.
- Creation and maintenance of project related site documentation; including property maps, light, and obstruction audits.
- Remote network troubleshooting and configuration of equipment (switches, radios, routers, and IP cameras).
- Aim and focus cameras with installers.
- Virtually configure new equipment.
- Verify network connections and site connectivity.
- Troubleshoot equipment located at client site.
- Coordinate & communicate with subcontractors, installers, and project managers.
- Tuning cameras after install is complete.
- Collaborate with service on tele-support and virtual resolutions for newly installed sites.
- Ability to handle multiple competing projects and assignments.
Job Skills and Requirements
- Must have basic networking knowledge.
- Associates degree in computer related field, preferred.
- Comp TIA Network+ and AXIS Certification, preferred.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision; follow directions and meet deadlines.
- Enjoys hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced work environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Office programs, including Excel and Powerpoint.
