AdAdapted adds value during the Awareness, Consideration, Purchase Intent and Active Shopping phases of consumer's purchase decision process.   Description AdAdapted is in search of a Backend Engineer to help in the development of our add-to-list mobile advertising platform. AdAdapted is the Leader in Digital Shopping List Marketing and Pre-Shop Consumer Insights. Our patented Add-It product, allows shoppers to add promoted products to their favorite digital shopping list or retailer online carts with just one click, driving purchase intent and sales for many of the world’s largest and emerging Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brands.  Role Summary  As a Backend Engineer you will be responsible for creating GraphQL API’s, cloud deployments , CI/CD pipelines , and conduct R&D on emerging technologies and cloud solutions. We strive to create an environment that provides the support and mentorship needed to learn and grow while encouraging our team members to collaborate, think big and take risks in a blame-free environment.  Responsibilities You will mentor junior engineers and work collaboratively with team You will work with senior leadership to architect important systems and anticipate strategic and scaling-related challenges via long-term planning You will write clean, well documented code ensuring strong focuses on readability and testing; leading by example   Position Requirements Requirements B.S. or B.A. in Computer Science, Information or related degree 1+ years of experience in backend development Experience in Python (v3.7+) and Linux Experience with building REST and/or GraphQL APIs Understanding of NoSQL and SQL databases Excellent written and verbal communication skills; problem-solving and analytical skills Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes, and Helm Deep, insatiable passion for finding simple solutions to complex problems Nice to have but not required Experience with GCP or similar cloud provider Experience working with Firestore/BigQuery/MySQL/PostgreSQL About AdAdapted The AdAdapted platform offers clients the ability to reach an active audience focused exclusively on their product, engage that audience with proprietary add-to-list and keyword intercept capabilities, and discover unique and valuable insights on consumers and how they interact with their ads.
