Location: Open (Ideally metro Detroit, NYC, Chicago, or Denver)

Role Summary:

AdAdapted is hiring a VP of Partnerships to join our growing team. Our partnerships are at the heart of our company. This individual will focus on owning existing relationships with current app/publisher partners as well as prospect and grow new relationships within the publisher space. This person will have a dynamic impact on the growth and success of our publisher business, and will have direct influence on building out our partnership sales strategy with the executive leadership team. They will also lead strategic initiatives around increasing AdAdapted's audience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital media and have experience building relationships with digital publishers. strong relationships with mobile app publishers in the cooking, grocery, productivity and lifestyle markets. They will also understand publisher monetization and advertising needs. Preferred candidates will have demonstrated a record of success and accomplishments in digital media and/or technology sales as well as be familiar with SDK integration and selling complex or technical products. Aside from being technically savvy, you must also be an effective communicator with exceptional ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

You will own:

  • Leveraging network of existing publishers and continuously prospect for new publisher partnerships; evangelizing AdAdapted value proposition and demonstrating our unique solutions as a true subject matter expert in all interactions

  • Work with leadership team to define, achieve and exceed audience growth goals as well as drive negotiations with new and prospective partners

  • Develop a sales strategy for mobile in-app publishers that accelerates business growth

  • Work closely with Marketing to shape go-to-market materials, and become the in-house expert at communicating our story to these stakeholders

  • Lead efforts through all aspects of the sales cycle including relationship initiation, negotiation, contract closing, integration, and partnership expansion

  • Participate in industry events and assist in growing AdAdapted's market presence

 
Position Requirements

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience with enterprise sales or business development in a grocery or app publisher focused business

  • Strong network of contacts within the mobile app publisher space (including but not limited to cooking, grocery, productivity, and lifestyle markets)

  • Strong knowledge & familiarity of digital/mobile advertising models

  • Experience selling complex and technical products, including familiarity with SDK integration

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to be personable yet persistent.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales/growth targets

  • Self-starting with an ability to learn, take charge and deliver results with minimal supervision

  • High energy and passionate about working in a fast-paced startup environment

  • Consistently demonstrates a growth mindset; embracing continuous learning; challenging the status quo, failing fast and rapidly iterating.
