The Sales Specialist will support the Ecommerce Sales and Merchandising Manager with daily assignments and execution of long-term strategy while working with brand leaders to obtain revenue targets. This role will support the tactical approaches applicable to the Amazon platform.


  • Partner with cross functional teams, including Operations, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Distribution, to support the holistic alignment of sales activities that drive profitable growth on the Amazon platform.
  • Use analytical tools and portals to measure, guide, and track the execution of aligned activities to win across product assortment, promotion, placement (merchandising) and pricing.
  • Work with Senior Management and Sales Representatives to support brand development strategy.
  • Collaborate with Sales staff in meetings by collecting and maintaining brand reports for Senior Management Review.
  • Communicate mid-term and long-term vision, goals, and requirements to all levels of the organization. Perform as the internal subject matter expert for the brand.
  • Assist with development of Amazon promotional plans that adhere to established promo budgets.
  • Responsible for maintaining product catalogs for all Truck Hero brands including new item setup, product availability, weights and dimensions, etc.
  • Organize and maintain product listing content for all Truck Hero brands including but not limited to product titles, marketing copy and descriptions/fitment data, images, enhanced content, and brand stores.
  • Regularly review and resolve product, pricing, and listing issues to ensure consistent availability and accuracy of products and product listings.
  • Gather sales data and maintain weekly and monthly platform performance reports including but not limited to sales metrics, advertising, reviews, etc.
  • Manage new item set up process for new products across all platforms, including data load sheets, image and content association, keyword optimization, etc.
  • Maintain product catalogs within all reporting systems and tracking software.
  • Coordinate with digital advertising team on integrating newly added items into digital advertising campaigns and launching strategic inventory load-in digital advertising campaigns.
  • Serve as liaison between internal departments and Amazon support team to assist with unresolved issues.
  • Implement processes for efficiently maintaining content across all marketplace platforms.
  • Initiate and lead corrective actions when needed (i.e. process implementation, problem solving, etc.).
Position Requirements


Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or a related field is required.
  • 3+ years of marketing / sales experience is required.
  • Experience with Amazon Vendor Central is a plus.

Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically in Excel.
  • Ability to understand retail pricing and gross/net margin modeling.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
