Our History

eMDs was founded in 1996 by David Winn, MD, a board-certified family practice physician with a very strong business background who understood the value of having an integrated practice management system which helped physicians focus on patients while optimizing practice financials. Dr. Winn was dissatisfied with offerings on the market, and set out to create his own. The eMDs clinic was first implemented in 1998. Using our own practice management system meant we fully understood what it takes to create the perfect EHR system and why the company built our reputation upon being a highly usable system.

Many years later, we've retained the same values from our early days. We are dedicated to building the best integrated EHR and RCM systems and services. We focus on listening to our customers. And most importantly, we focus on making the practice of medicine enjoyable and fulfilling.

VMWARE certification and strong knowledge

VMWARE setup and maintenance (at least 2 projects)

Cloud Support Certification (AWS / Public Cloud)

VMware Backup Knowledge

Storage Management (SAN in-depth knowledge)


Good to Have:


Experience in Windows 2008/2012/2016

SAN Switch configuration and maintenance knowledge

Windows Patch Management

Security controls (DLP)

Good Inventory controls and documentation knowledge


Personal Qualities:

Team Player

Good Trouble Shooting knowledge

Good communication skills

Work as a coach for junior engineers / Staff


Position Requirements

Cloud Engineer KRA / Roles and Responsibility

  1. Create, Manage and maintain dev, staging and Pre-prod environment
  2. Work on TierPoint, VMWare and other On-premises infrastructure
  3. Involve in Design & Documentation of the Setup (TierPoint and VMWARE)
  4. Create VM's in VMWARE and TierPoint Datacenter
  5. Create deployment scripts and deploy the OS Image
  6. Ensure timely backup for VMware Noida infrastructure.
  7. Maintenance support for Infrastructure including Windows Patching upgrading and security measurement
  8. Total IT Infrastructure support.
  9. Implement Security parameters
  10. Support during Migration, testing and Go-Live phase
  11. Communicate and co-ordinate with various stakeholders from different geo locations.
  12. Track the project activities and Ensure the implementation in stipulated timeline
  13. Communicate and co-ordinate with various teams for implementation
  14. Publish status report and timely highlight risks.
  15. Maintain the health status of all infrastructure components (VMWARE & TierPoint) required to support the virtual platform
  16. Build and upgrade Virtual infrastructure components when required
  17. Security and patch management of the VMware components and related support tools
  18. Provide day to day technical backup and support for the platform teams for the Virtual machines (Including VMWARE Noida and TierPoint)
  19. Proactively manage the VM platform capacity ensuring each farm has sufficient CPU, memory and disk space to host the current and future needs to support project requirements
  20. Installation and configuration of Windows Operating system and hardware to corporate standards (VMWARE and Tier-Point)
  21. Monitoring and reporting of the server environment and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  22. Perform server patching, data backups and recovery operations.
  23. Monitor issues and provide management reports on incidents and problem management
  24. Provide support based on the shifts and out of hours based on an on-call rotational.
  25. Ensure all activities are compliant with security and regulatory requirements
  26. Work alongside the platform teams to provide cost effective virtualization solutions and encourage best practices to prevent over allocation and wastage due to lack of usage.
  27. Able to translate business requirements into capabilities that can be delivered with the Virtualization Cloud Management solution and show how this can provide business benefit and value Maintain current and in- depth knowledge of the entire Virtualization product line Ability to navigate stakeholder community in customer to gain consensus to a Virtualization cloud management strategy Ability to navigate and orchestrate the Virtualization technical, commercial and product management communities
