Location: Quincy, Monticello, Madison, Midway, and Tampa

This role is part of the Manufacturing, Operations Support sub-function. A key component of manufacturing’s success depends on its ability to drive recruitment, provide OJT programs, improve retention, inspire the team culture, develop its talent base, and ensure a strong talent pipeline. In this position, the Manufacturing Ops Support Manager, will assist in efforts to implement and execute a proactive training, operations support, recruitment, retention, and employee culture strategy with new, creative tactics, and delivery models that will give manufacturing a competitive edge. The Manufacturing Ops Support Manager will be responsible for assisting in the long-term talent development vision and pivotal initiatives in partnership with Regional and Site Leaders. Manufacturing is looking for a dynamic, creative, and passionate manager. We are looking for a Learning, Operations, and Culture Manager with a creative mindset towards modern learning approaches, a keen understanding of effective design methodology, technical aptitude, analytical, operations focused and a desire to drive scalable strategic advancement towards transformative training and operations support program design.

 
Position Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, coach, and develop a strong Manufacturing Operations Support Supervisor Team across multiple sites and cities within the Cultivation or Processing divisions.
  • Provides feedback concerning team associate performance, business area issues, or process improvement needs
  • Oversee and execute the operations support and training strategy in partnership with Regional and Site Senior Leaders.
  • Responsible for leading and evaluating OJT programs for the Manufacturing Department.
  • Lead and maintain various training programs to support organizational growth to include executive development, front line leadership training, onboarding, and talent management.
  • Responsible for building and delivering high quality training and development experiences while continually evaluating the effectiveness of the programs.
  • Identify and create employee growth and development opportunities to support recruitment, employee engagement, culture, employee morale, and retention.
  • Champion employee engagement and facilitate business success by fostering a culture focused on continuous learning.
  • Support the Brand Ambassador Program for Manufacturing.
  • Lead, inspire, and champion culture focused initiatives and provide related training.
  • Assess operational efficiencies in Manufacturing and provide solutions as needed to solve root cause of the concerns.
  • Partner with Regional and Site Leaders to review and or create standard operating procedures. Then participate in the implementation with approval from Manufacturing Directors.
  • Follow and improve KPI’s that relate to operational productivity.
  • Establish strong and effective leadership credibility through decisive problem solving

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2-5+ years of relevant experience.
  • 1-2+ years’ experience facilitating OJT programs.
  • CPTM, CPLP or related certification preferred.
  • 2+ year of professional level experience in manufacturing, training, or operations.
  • 1+ years of training experience.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience identifying and implementing training courses and programs to support business objectives.
  • 3+ years of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 365.
  • Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis as well in a group setting.
  • Must be able to build effective relationships quickly across departments and create an environment of accountability and excellence in coaching, training, and development.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to handle HIPPA related situations.
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing, proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Professional level spelling, grammar, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
