Share Email Opening Title Respiratory Therapist (Pulmonary Services),FT, 6p-6:30a  Location Joint Township District Memorial Hospital   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Working Shift 6p-6:30a   Hours Per Week 36   Description The Respiratory Therapist is the primary caregiver and contact person for all patients and patient families receiving treatment, diagnostic testing, or education relative to respiratory illness. The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for day-to-day clinical operations and patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. (S)he places the patient at the center of care practices and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes and practices Joint Township District Memorial Hospital professional practice model principles.   Position Requirements Licensure: Current Ohio RCP license, RRT preferred. Certification: Requires BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP or must obtain within 6-12 months or hire. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of allied health; BS preferred. Experience/Skills: Requires competency and proficiency in all areas of respiratory practice; 2 years previous experience preferred. Demonstrate excellent communication skills and displays the ability to work as a team member with the patient experience as the focus. Demonstrates the ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast paced environment. Physical Demands: The position requires a full range of body motion, including lifting, bending, climbing stair, squatting, and sitting. Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods of time, must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Requires corrected vision and hearing in the normal range. Must have excellent hand/eye coordination and finger dexterity.
