Position Summary:

The Human Resources team is looking for an experienced HR Talent Acquisition Specialist who thrives in a teamwork focused environment that will help us continue to grow and build upon our Talent at Edgewood Tahoe Resort. Each day will be different as we shape our HR infrastructure to a scalable path for our intelligent business growth.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for performing a broad range of operational services that supports all disciplines of Talent Acquisition (Staffing). This position will place a special focus on standardizing and enhancing the framework, workflow, rollout, and execution of multiple existing projects and programs of diverse recruiting strategies here at Edgewood Resort Tahoe. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also support our HR team with team member experience and partnership with our management and leadership teams on other general Human Resources.

Essential Functions:

  • Drive the talent acquisition program for all hiring programs and execute the talent acquisition program.
  • Oversees all aspects of the hiring process, including staffing requisitions, job posts, candidate screening, interviews, and job offers.
  • Responsible for the internal talent movement and transfers across the company.
  • Manages the onboarding program for all team members.
  • Ensures an effective on-boarding process, including oversight for new hire paperwork.
  • Maintains the Edgewood job description library.
  • Assists with administration of Talent Management initiatives.
  • Responsible for all employment steps from hiring through start date and retention.
  • Coordinates team member surveys and feedback data for continuous improvement.
  • Assists in facilitation of new hire orientations.
  • Support with ad hoc team projects as needed.
  • Provides HR team back-up support for the HR office.
  • Good working knowledge of Desktop OS, the Ascentis HR System, and other key Talent Acquisition resources, including reporting functions for date knowledge and analysis.
  • Documents and regularly updates standard operating procedures related to day-to-day Talent Acquisition programs and tools.
  • Participates in administrative staff meeting, attends seminars and training sessions as needed.
  • Responsible for the management, execution, and on-boarding integration for the entire J1 program for both seasonal and year-round team members.
  • Owns the management and delivery of all sourcing tools for talent acquisition (eg Linked In, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.).
  • Develops data driven metrics and measurements for talent acquisition results.
  • Owns the oversight for seasonal retention programs for talent.
  • Leads the design and execution for all talent events on property.
  • Implement community-based partnerships for talent opportunities and learning experiences.
  • Ensure our hiring leaders are trained on effective interview and talent selection skills
 
Position Requirements

Qualifications \ Special Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent education preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of Human Resources experience or HR working knowledge is required.
  • Recruiter \ Talent Acquisition experience is required.
  • Experience with a Forbes rated Resort property and\or independent hotel preferred; hospitality experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive HR talent acquisition, team members experience, and to deliver high-quality HR services in an ever-changing environment.
  • Knowledgeable and current understanding of HR laws\guidelines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills needed, as well as interpersonal savvy.
  • Highly resourceful and organized with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Must be agile, flexible and be open to new ideas.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office and experience with HRIS is mandatory.
  • Ability to prepare, organize, and report data generated by computer.
  • Knowledge to implement, manage, and maintain Staffing automation tools is required.
  • Genuinely interested in the Human Resources function and professional growth.
  • Available to work varied shifts when needed, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
