Share Email Opening Title Marketing Associate  Description RCN Capital is seeking a motivated, organized, creative and detail-oriented candidate to join the Marketing Department. The Marketing Associate will report directly to the Director of Marketing and will be an integral part of the team's initiatives. Primary responsibilities include  developing and executing email marketing campaigns, and social media management, as well as assisting with customer retention campaigns, trade show planning, department reporting, copy writing for various campaigns and completing other tasks as necessary. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and execute email marketing campaigns as well as update and maintain contact database in Constant Contact Develop and execute customer retention email campaigns and drip campaigns in Salesforce Manage company social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, & Instagram) via Sprout Social Assist with copy writing for various ad campaigns and development of marketing materials   Position Requirements Required Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Independent self-starter with ability to multi-task and prioritize projects as needed Capable of working both independently and as part of a team Highly motivated with strong work ethic High attention to detail Strong writing and analytical skills Ability to lift 20-30 pounds comfortably Preferred Skills: Basic knowledge of HTML Basic knowledge of search engine optimization fundamentals and search engine marketing Social media management Required Experience: 1-3 years of prior experience managing email marketing campaigns 1-3 years of prior experience with social media marketing 1-3 years of experience in content creation/development Preferred Experience: Prior use of a CRM (Salesforce) Prior use of an email marketing platform (Constant Contact or MailChimp) Prior copy writing experience Prior use of a Marketing Automation platform (Pardot) Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field required Schedule: Full time Monday-Friday, 9:00AM to 6:00PM   Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time   Shift Days   Division RCN Capital   Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt   Req Number MAR-21-00006   Location Hartford County - RCN   EOE Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
