RCN Capital - Elite Commercial Servicing is seeking a Loan Servicing Representative to join our Loan Servicing team. The Loan Servicing Representative will be responsible for a variety of clerical and administrative tasks related to maintenance and processing of commercial loans.
Daily responsibilities will include processing of borrower transactions, payment application, payoffs and reconciliation.
The ideal candidate will possess previous loan servicing experience in payment processing and customer service and be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Knowledge of loan files and documents a plus. Ability to assume responsibility, display initiative, and exercise good judgment with minimal supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure all funds received are processed timely
- Review borrower payoffs and requests
- Process check returns and payment reversals
- Respond to borrower payment inquiries via phone and email
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, specifically Excel
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Ability to review, collect and comprehend financial data
- Strong analytical math skills
