Description

Centennial Resource Development, Inc. (“CRD”) (NASDAQ: CDEV) is currently seeking a Sr. Regulatory Analyst. Reporting to the Regulatory Manager, the Sr. Regulatory Analyst will be responsible for coordinating regulatory filings, communicating regulatory requirements and coordinating compliance activities in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and administrative skills, preferably with experience working with the Texas Railroad Commission (TRCC), the New Mexico Oil Conservation Division (NM OCD) and the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

General responsibilities include:

  • Prepare, submit, track, and manage regulatory and compliance filings such as drilling permits, completion and workover reports including APD, GAU, W-2/G-1, P-16, P-4, P-8, flaring exceptions, sundry notices, commingle applications, etc.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with relevant regulatory agencies
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable rules, regulations and procedures
  • Communicate State and Federal regulations to Operations/Land/Development staff
  • Coordinate with Engineering/Land/Operations/Geology to collect well data
  • Respond to State and Federal agency inquiries/complaints/certified letters

Compensation & Benefits Information:

  • Salary range is approximately $95,000 - $105,000, depending on specific experience*
  • Other forms of compensation for this position include:
    • Target bonus of 15% of base salary and any eligible overtime wages (discretionary based on company and individual performance)

*Please note that Centennial may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range provided. Company takes into consideration a candidate’s education, training, and experience, as well as the position's work location, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment when determining the salary level for potential new employees. Position Requirements

Knowledge and Skills include:

  • High degree of organization and efficiency with demonstrated attention to detail
  • Superior ability to prioritize activities and meet all deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to research and comprehend rules and regulations

Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience, preferably in a small or mid-size oil and gas company
  • Experience working with the TRRC and/or NM OCD a plus
  • Federal permitting experience preferred
