Web Support Engineer 
Description

RCN Capital and Bridge Loan Network are seeking a Web Support Engineer to join our technology team. This role is an extension of the development team and will focus on addressing support requests quickly and accurately, utilizing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to provide web support, and provide strong customer service and support to end users for the Bridge Loan Network program. Ideal candidates will have a good understanding of programming languages like HTML, CSS, and JAvaScruopt, an ability ot identify different types of websites and how they function in relation to Bridge Loan Network, and will be able to triage and fulfill support tickets independently. This is a great opportunity to have a hands-on role within a development team that will provide opportunities for growth.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Review, triage, and fulfill support tickets from internal and external end users in a timely manner
  • Utilize knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to address issues or make improvements
  • Work independently to resolve tickets
  • Utilize web management tools to assess options for improvement or solutions to problems
  • Recognize different website types easily and understand the level of control and responsibility Bridge Loan Network has for each
 
Position Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ability to interpret and explain complex ideas to those inside and outside of the engineering structure
  • Excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Required Experience:

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or related field
  • Familiarity with SEO and Google Analytics
  • Exposure to Adobe hotoshop and Fireworks

Education:

  • Associate's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or related field required
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Design, or related field preferred

  • Monday-Friday, day hours
