Easterseals UCP (ESUCP) has an immediate need for a full-time Telehealth Therapist. The Telehealth Therapist will complete Comprehensive Clinical Assessments to identify behavioral or psychological symptoms or patterns to make treatment recommendations for the individuals being assessed.  This role will also carry a caseload and provide behavioral health counseling to adults; children; adolescents and families.

Responsibilities include and are not limited to:

  • Provides assessments and clinical diagnostic services for persons entering or reentering the human services system, including assessment of strength and supports
  • Provides one-on-one, group, and/or family counseling as stipulated by specific referral to individuals and families with emotional and/or behavioral issues
  • Maintains clinical documentation according to Program and Medicaid standards regarding service provision, assessments and progress reports
  • Assists the individual in developing a person-centered service plan; updating at least every six months or as needed.  The plan should be a strength-based approach.
  • Assists the individual to develop a crisis plan identifying social supports; coping skills and contact numbers. This should be reviewed at least every six months or as needed.
  • Works cooperatively with peers, supervisors, referral sources, community stakeholders to help facilitate a team-based approach
  • Attends and participates in clinical supervisions and other training as required
Position Requirements


  • Master’s Degree in a human service-related field from an institution accredited by the USOE or CHEA required.
  • A full or provisional license in the appropriate discipline is required in either LCSW; LCMHC; LMFT; LCAS; LCSW-A; LCMHCA; LMFT-A.
  • Must have at least one year’s full-time, documented experience with the population served.
  • Prior work experience with Medicaid and community-based populations.
  • Prior experience with diagnosing and assessment.
  • Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus!
  • Demonstrates high moral and ethical character and be free of any substantiated charges of abuse or neglect on the NC Healthcare Registry and OIG.
  • Maintain valid insurance for personal vehicles utilized for work.
  • Must have a valid, state-appropriate, unrestricted Driver’s License with acceptable MVR.
