Description

OMIX-ADA, a Truck Hero Company and a leading retailer and distribution for Jeep Accessories located in Suwanee Georgia. We are currently looking for a fulltime Facilities Technician to work the day shift. Summary/Objective

Performs routine cleaning of offices, conference rooms, breakrooms, and bathrooms. Assists in set up and tear down of internal company events.

Essential Functions include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Performs cleaning, sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping all floors and corridors to ensure cleanliness
  • Determines type of chemicals and equipment necessary for specific cleaning tasks
  • Performs and oversees routine maintenance of housekeeping equipment
  • Orders supplies and maintains inventory of supplies
  • Ensures that windows are washed, and carpets are vacuumed
  • Removes trash and other debris from entrances and exits to buildings, as well as offices and cubicles (as needed)
  • Performs weekly outside sweep to remove trash and debris, as well as analyze facility for any issues
  • Perform monthly fire extinguisher evaluation
  • Identifies cleaning problems and determines appropriate remedies
  • Creates and maintain a daily and weekly cleaning schedule for facility cleaning
  • Other duties may be assigned

 

 
Position Requirements

Education and/or Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and five years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Drug Screen – Must submit to a drug screen, which is performed on all new hires. Results must be reported prior to start date.

Work Authorization – Must be authorized to work in the United States. Appropriate documentation is obtained and reviewed by Human Resources.

Availability – Must be able to work any shift and understand that changing to a different shift is at the discretion of management. Must be able to work required overtime, sometimes equating to 12-hour days.

Language Skills - Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Licenses Required – Valid driver’s license.

Level of Supervision – Employees in this position will perform a variety of routine work within established policies and procedures and will receive detailed instructions on new projects and assignments.
