    As a Medical Product Builder, the job typically requires the ability to follow written instructions and demonstrated directions without deviating from documented operating processes. You will need to understand inspection requirements and visually inspect parts with attention to detail while assembling at a steady pace.

    • Reads and follows work instructions as posted at the work station.
    • Build parts efficiently and works in the clean room, with high quality and low waste.
    • Packages product in accordance with the part-packaging plan.
    • Visually or dimensionally inspects parts as prescribed by the quality standards.
    • Notifies the shift supervisor, shift lead or manufacturing engineer of any visual problems with the parts or any assembly issues.
    • Manually assembles parts by following specific instructions.
    • Perform secondary operations per instructions.
    • Verifies and documents production process information as directed.
    • Verify and ensure box labels, box quantities vs. work order information is accurate.
    • Completes production documentation and reporting requirements.
    • Maintains and promotes a safe and clean working environment.
    • Keep machines and work areas in a neat, clean and orderly condition, and free of hazards
    • Experience with maintaining accurate records including training files and shop floor paperwork
    • Ability to use various assembly tools including microscopes and various electromechanical testing equipment
    • Ability to collect and stage raw materials and parts as required
    • Ability to work with dexterity and attention to detail
    • Experience to troubleshoot electromechanical assemblies within documented process guidelines
 
Position Requirements

 

  • High School or GED required
  • Valid identification and the ability to legally work in the United States.
  • 2 years working as an assembler in the medical device or electronics field is preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend production instructions, policy manuals, safety instructions, short correspondence and business memorandums
  • To perform basic mathematical computations (examples: add, subtract, and divide in all unit of measure, using whole numbers and decimals)
  • Accurate manual dexterity.
  • Ability to occasionally lift 30lbs unaided.
  • Ability to stand, bend and stoop.
  • To work with and communicate in a team environment.
  • To record and make accurate records of product produced.
  • Visually inspect and compare the difference between good and bad product.
  • Walking and stair climbing is required with in the office/shop areas.
  • Knowledge of Quality System and FDA Regulations preferred

 

 

 
Pay Range $15-16/hour  
Location Maplewood
