SUMMARY

Maintain the accuracy, integrity and standardization of all Engineering data in the ERP/MRP system.  Coordinate Engineering Change Process.  Prioritize needs between Manufacturing Engineering and Product Development. Work closely with Materials, Customer Service, and Manufacturing to ensure data structure fits and works hand in hand with the process. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Maintain ERP/MRP data per established standards
  • Develop ERP/MRP Database for new products. 
  • Translate SolidWorks Models and drawings into complete ERP setup
  • Develop Routings to serve as both process instruction and a basis for costing parts
  • Review and Modify Solid Works models as required
  • Create and Maintain Accurate part numbers
  • Create and maintain accurate bill of materials and routing files. 
  • Coordinate the Engineering Change Process
  • Keeps work area neat and clean according to company standards.
  • Works safely and follows all company rules and procedures.
 
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering related field required. 
  • Minimum of 7 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, Auto Cad, and Corel Draw preferred.
