Hampton - Newport News Community Services Board provides clinical services in Newport News Juvenile Detention Services including crisis intervention, mental health assessment and intervention, case management services and family support provided to residents of Newport News Juvenile Detention, and their family members.
The Juvenile Detention Services Therapist I manages a predetermined caseload in an outpatient setting which involves the assessment evaluation of incoming clients, individual, group and family counseling, educational sessions and discharge/aftercare planning for clients.
