All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.   Description Falcon Plastics, Inc. currently has an opening for a Human Resource Intern.  Falcon Plastics specializes in custom injection molding and assembly of plastics.  Falcon Plastics, Inc. has nearly 300 full and part time employees with operations in South Dakota, Tennessee and Oregon.   Job Description Summary: This position will support the HR function both at the local Brookings facility and the corporate centralized HR functions.   Specific responsibilities with the Brookings HR department will be assigned.  Hours: Part time (12-24 hrs/week). Flexible scheduling.  Primary Job Duties: Assist with coordinating recruitment ad campaigns through various social media platforms. Assist with work flow and management of the applicant tracking system. Support the candidate screening and hiring processes, including reference checking and interviewing. Partner with the HR Managers on supporting various employee activities and events. Assist with administration of recruitment, benefits, employee meetings, training programs and attendance tracking system. Assist the Committee facilitators with monthly meetings and administration. Assist with coordination of company events and the employee relations team. File appropriate paper documents and personnel records as outlined by the HR procedural manual. Assist with the day to day operations of the Human Resource Department.  Must be able to read, write and perform basic math.   Position Requirements Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a higher education institution and has completed at least one year of courses in a related field of study.
