We are seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our team in our Northern VA and Washington, DC offices; this opportunity is also eligible for telework schedules. This position is primarily responsible for full life-cycle technical recruiting, including developing recruiting strategies, posting job advertisements, and screening/interviewing candidates. Responsible for attracting talent with a focus on government/military contracting.

The Technical Recruiter will:

  • Work closely with the Director of Business Development and the responsible Division and/or Program Manager to develop and post position descriptions for new open and contingent positions.
  • Be part of a team focused on growing TCG and maintaining our reputation for high-quality engineering, financial management, information technology, and cyber security people and services.
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and all contracted search engines to recruit both passive and active, technical and non-technical, and, in some cases, hard to find candidates.
  • Provide on-site support to the management team to aggressively source candidates through both active and passive methods.
  • Utilize creative marketing, sourcing strategies, and techniques to attract key talent, to include but not limited to utilizing the following sourcing efforts: internet advertising, social media, employee referrals, attendance at career and job fairs, cold calling, and serve as a corporate liaison with schools and universities.
  • Manage scheduling and logistics for all interviews between candidates and hiring managers; prepare and debrief candidates.
  • Provide weekly status reports to the HR Manager and ensure that candidate tracking up-to-date and accurate.
  • Conduct pre-screens and interviews to develop and understanding of the candidate's qualifications, job preferences and minimum salary requirements; ensure candidates meeting minimum job qualifications.
  • Perform background and referral investigations for selected candidates.
  • Maintain regular contact with candidates to foster on-going relationships; maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future business needs.
  • Negotiate and extend offers on behalf of our company.
  • Participate in the on-boarding process.
  • Perform other related job duties and responsibilities as required.
 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in business administration, human resources, or other related field and 5 to 7 years’ of experience recruiting for contract roles primarily with the Department of Defense. Degree requirement may be waived for individuals with more than 7 years of directly relevant experience.
  • Experience with social media recruitment methods including a strong presence on LinkedIn.
  • Working knowledge of on-line job boards.
  • Experience with applicable applicant tracking databases
  • Excellent written, communication and computer skills including working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Detail oriented and well organized; ability and flexibility to multi-task and handle competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and participate as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance
