Description

Valley CSB is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Dap Specialist/NGRI Case Manager. This position will be part of the Mental Health Case Management Department. The DAP Specialist/NGRI case manager oversees the Discharge Assistances Plans (DAP) and provides ongoing community mental health case management to the long-term mentally disabled population within the Staunton/Waynesboro, Augusta, and Highland County catchment areas. The incumbent provides MHCM services to the NGRI population and clients under MOT court order. The incumbent will work closely with the State Hospital Liaison to create discharge plans and develop DAP plans to fund services, placements, and any necessities needs to assist individuals with transitioning from hospitalization into the community.

Position Requirements

A Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field and at least one year of clinical experience is required, QMHP-A or QMHP-Trainee is preferred. Valid VA driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
