Description

The Senior Digital Marketing Specialist job at RealTruck exist to execute online advertising programs to promote eCommerce brands - products, services to increase brand awareness and to drive prospective customers to conversion and/or retention. These programs could include but are not limited to email campaigns, website content, social media appeals, paid search campaigns, and paid social. The ideal candidate(s) should be familiar with marketing techniques in accordance with modern consumer habits and advertising products. This role is responsible for the deployment, tactical execution, and conveying brand messaging to improve brand awareness to attract and retain customers. This role may mentor or assist other digital marketing specialists on the team.

CORE FUNCTIONS

  • Execute multiple digital campaigns across several platforms simultaneously including but not limited to Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, YouTube, and vendor campaigns.
  • Monitor campaign results and provide feedback and recommendations to consistently improve campaign performance.
  • Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, events planning etc.).
  • Provide input to the development of projects for marketing campaigns and strategies, including company websites and Social Media.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and ensure creative marketing materials undergo regular review.
  • Manage print and digital asset inventory to ensure creative alignment across all marketing channels.
  • Generate monthly reports on a schedule using aggregate tools. Assist in overall monthly and campaign-level reporting of marketing KPI performance vs. goals.
  • Assist in analyzing marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Assist with problem escalations and urgent issue resolution.
  • Assist lower level digital marketing specialist on difficult or unusual problems or errors.
  • Perform audits and preaudits on a variety of digital campaign ads and peer reviews.
  • Communicate web system errors to the development team.
  • Stay abreast with marketing research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits, and trends.
  • Collaborate with members of the marketing team and other professionals to coordinate brand awareness and marketing efforts.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns.
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns.
  • Work with advertising and media agencies with day-to-day support and execution of creative deliverables.
  • Work closely with the sales team on program development and implementation.
  • Seek out buy-in from stakeholders to develop the most effective communication assets.
  • Work with marketing operations to develop and respond to design requests.
  • Undertake individual tasks of a marketing plan as assigned.

 

 
Position Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Associate Degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from a two (2) year college or technical school preferred, and
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years related marketing experience required, and
  • Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience working in an E-Commerce environment preferred.

Required Licenses

  • Relevant certification(s) such as: Google Ads or Google Shopping preferred.

Skills and Abilities

  • In-depth working knowledge and experience using third party email service provider platforms (Iterable, Bronto, Emarsys, Klaviyo, SailThru, Listrak, Responsys etc.).
  • Advanced working knowledge working with HTML, CSS, and content design in the context of building/coding/deployment of marketing campaigns.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web Analytics, Google AdWords, etc.).
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of utilizing inbox monitoring tools to optimize delivery and placement of sends (ex. Return Path, 250 OK).
  • Demonstrable experience in marketing data analytics and tools.
  • Experience with websites and graphic design preferred (Photoshop, WordPress, etc.).
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO/SEM/PPC/Social media etc.) and market research methods.
  • Well-organized and detail oriented.
