Position Ultrasound-Echo Tech  

Ultrasound Technologist performs all Ultrasound and Doppler (vascular studies) at a technical level. Provides technical advice to the Director. Performs ultrasound procedures at a technical level in the department and with mobile unit in all areas of the hospital.

Echo Technologist Performs all transthoracic echoes at a technical level. Performs cardiac echo procedures at a technical level in the department and with mobile echo unit in all areas of the hospital according to the direction of the department director, from neonate/infant to geriatric patients. Provides technical advice to the director.

Position Requirements


Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Associates Degree in applied sciences preferred.


Ultrasound Technologist: Graduate of an AMA approved school in Ultrasound or have (get) on the job training with clinical experience, and be registered or registry eligible within one year of training.

Echo Technologist: Must maintain current ARDCS or CCI certification and CPR certification.
