Share Email Opening Title Machine Maintenance Technician - 1st shift  Description MME group, a contract manufacturer in Vadnais Heights, MN, is looking for a career-oriented individual to join our team. We are looking for a Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team! This position is responsible maintaining our injection molding presses including corrective and preventive maintenance of all equipment. Reviews work orders with Lead to determine work priorities. Schedules repairs and maintenance to ensure continuous production operations. Conducts the preventive maintenance to ensure the all equipment is correctly and accurately maintained. Reviews manufacture service manuals and records of maintenance problems to determine optimum frequency of preventive maintenance. Plans, develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operations cost and effect greater utilization of labor materials. Requisitions tools, equipment and supplies required for the facility operation. Prepares department budget and monitors expenditures of funds in budget. Confers with management to resolve maintenance problems and recommend measure to improve operations and conditions of the equipment and facility. Orders supplies when needed within the scope of authority given by the Lead. Maintains QMS compliance with proper documentation and record keeping. Directs training and indoctrination to improve work performance and develop personnel growth of team members. Supports the safety program of the facility by being directly involved as an active member of the safety committee. Other tasks as assigned by Lead.   Position Requirements High School Diploma or GED Required 2 year Technical or Trade school with emphasis on mechanical or mechanical engineering. Valid identification and the ability to legally work in the United States. 7 years of experience performing maintenance on a variety of manufacturing equipment with emphasis on injection molding machines and process equipment Must be detail orientated. Ability and willingness to problem solve. Maintain a positive attitude and readily adapts to changes necessary to support the business. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Understands and has intermediate knowledge of computer databases and systems. Preferably Epicor and Microsoft Office Suite. Walking and stair climbing is required within the office/shop areas. May be required to stoop, climb, lay down and other various position in order to perform maintenance on equipment. Sitting, standing, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing of the arms, legs, wrists and fingers are physical requirements.
