Description

Under general supervision, the Account Support Specialist processes incoming work orders to configure accounts to client specifications within back end systems.  This role ensures that necessary and appropriate documentation are present for set up, coordinates tasks and communication among internal groups, provides Account Setup support upon receipt of requests through internal CRM and acts as liaison with various groups as a directed by Team Lead.  The ideal candidate will work well both independently as well as in a team environment and maintain established levels of quality, productivity and pace.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organizing, planning, completing and prioritizing work – Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish your work and the work of the team. Coordinate and distribute all special projects and follow through until completion, while providing the guidance to the team performing the work order

  • Processing information – Compiling, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing, or verifying information or data. Review and distribute metrics and identify corrective action as warranted.

  • Making decisions and analytical problem solving – Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution, solve problems and actively implement the solution.

  • Collaboration across areas Build effective working relationships within Sales, Client Implementations, Operations, and Account Management to provide support, expertise and guidance during account set-up process.

 

 
Position Requirements

Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:
3 years of experience performing in a customer service role or operations role. Preferred 1 year of experience working in a matrix organization teams and work processes.

Knowledge (all required):

  • Requires proficient use of the company email and scheduling tools
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated analytical experience
  • Skills required include strong customer service skills, organization, problem solving, attention-to-detail, interpersonal skills, and outstanding communications skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required
  • Proficiency in internal back-end platforms
  • Proficiency in the organization’s CRM tool

Physical Requirements:
This role is largely a sedentary in nature. The role requires the ability to lift and/or carry equipment and files up to 20 pounds, walk, bend or stand as necessary.

Working Environment:
This is a remote position. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, calculators, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Less than 5%
