Program Manager

Upon award, we are hiring a Program Manager to join our client's team in Washington, DC. In this role you will:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the operations of an Amphibious Warfare support contract by formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources.
  • Recognize the interdependencies/interrelationships of the acquisition and life cycle management of: 
    • LHA Amphibious Assault ship
    • Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC)
    • Ship to Shore Connector (SSC)
    • Landing Craft Mechanized & Utility (LCM/LCU)
    • Amphibious Assault Direction System (AADS) program. 
  • Effectively integrate program management and financial support efforts across all areas.
  • Execute the complex requirements, technical analyses, and Business/Financial Management support associated with the execution of an ACAT I shipbuilding program. 
Position Requirements

Required Education, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a related field.
  • PMP or DAWIA Program Management Level III preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of  NAVSEA acquisition and/or life cycle management experience of which at least 5 years in a supervisory role. 
  • 10 years of professional experience providing support to an ACAT I shipbuilding program preferred.
  • Highly desired experience in the following:
    • Defense acquisition process
    •  Program management
    • Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. 
  • An active Secret security clearance is required. US Citizenship is a prerequisite.
