We are seeking a Commissions Processing Supervisor / Manager to join our growing enterprise. The individual in this role will oversee, manage, and lead functions of the commissions department and project related functions. Responsible for commission processing, reporting, and customer service related to commissions and our clients. Performs semi-monthly and monthly reconciliations working close with Financial Reporting to produce payments for Programs and their associated Advisors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and develops processes, checklist, and procedures that will aide in continuous improvement related to departmental performance and efficiency.
  • Reconciles and reviews commission payout working with Financial Reporting to finalize and initiate payment for Programs and their Advisors
  • Build and maintain trusting relationships with Programs and Advisors, including proactively soliciting feedback to maintain and improve on high service levels.
  • Supervises the commission reporting process, ensuring reports and anticipated deliverables are provided to recipients timely and accurately.
  • Facilitate and supervise management of financial service agreements and representative agreements, including changes, amendments, and sharing/spilt arrangements.
  • Promote and manage cross training across the Commission staff
  • Works closely with Commission Managers throughout the Atria organization promoting cross training on all aspects of Commissions
  • Ensure all departmental emails, phone calls, and service request are handled timely and effectively
  • Manages incoming and pending Zendesk tickets, providing status updates and reporting daily
  • Very involved in Commission related deployments and projects across the organization
  • Resolves escalated commission issues for Programs and Advisors
  • Ensures desktop procedures for the Commissions team are maintained.
  • Responsible for annual performance appraisal for direct reports
  • Supports company mission and corporate values
  • Performs ancillary projects and duties as assigned
Position Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university or related experience and/or training.
  • Previous supervision experience.
  • Experience in the following areas is preferred: developing workflows, financial statement(s) preparation, conceptual level presentations, and auditing processes, advanced knowledge of financial statement interpretation methodologies and project management.
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail. Must also have strong multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills with the ability to energize and excite team members to exceed expectations.
  • Possess high ethical standards including honesty, integrity, and dedication
